What to do if eaten
If a meaningful amount is consumed, watch for excessive thirst, vomiting, or tremors and contact a vet.
How to serve safely
Soy sauce is very salty — a single tablespoon can hold more sodium than a small dog should have in a day. It also often contains wheat and sometimes garlic/onion. Don’t season a dog’s food with it; even a lick is unnecessary (see Salt).
